In the run up to the release of his EP Things In The Way, Porsh Bet$’ teases us by dropping its title track. Porsh Bet$ explains that this touching track is based around the "constraints of being in a long-distance relationship with someone and the yearning it creates." This notion is clearly displayed in this track through the melodic hook, which sees Porsh list all of the problems that are impacting his relationship. This is a beautiful track, which works so well because it is reflective of the artist's life, as he speaks about writing this as the distance between him and his girlfriend was putting a strain on the relationship. Through this single we also see Porsh Bet$' versatility as it is drastically different to his more rock and emo-based and indie songs such as ‘2 The Weekend’ and ‘Neiman Marcus’.
